It is one of my greatest passions to be in loving connection with the Earth, to play with the elements and sing with the waters. To sing creates a deep sense of wonder, fulfillment and magic within my heart, body and soul. In these precious moments, I feel fully alive, and in my true purpose. Maya Rose is of Native American and Hispanic heritage from Ogapoge, Santa Fe, New Mexico. In her recent project, Muna Music, she is inspired by her connection and love for the Earth through her own body as a mirror of the living elements. In her upcoming album “Clay” she collaborates with Andrew Tumason of Woven Talon, utilizing voice and percussion to express a new language of love for the Earth.
