The Chilkat River, one of the most pristine places on the Earth and home to the Tlingit tribe, is being threatened by a sulfide ore mining operation in southern Alaska.

As water stewards and global citizens, my dear friend Michael and I are being called in a powerful way to support the rights of the Tlingit tribe, share offerings of prayer and song, and support in raising awareness for the protection of the Chilkat River in whatever way we can.

We are raising $3000 to provide for our travel costs and offer one third of donations to the protection efforts in Haines, Alaska.
